❓Can I bring a cake to sing Happy Birthday? 

Yes, of course! Please bring candles and napkins so we can wrap cake for the children to take home

❓Do I need to bring matches or a knife to cut the cake?

Nope — we’ve got that covered! We will even cut up and wrap your cake for you.

❓What time should I arrive?

Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your party starts. We’ll be all set and ready for you.

❓Where can I park?

You can park on Abbeydale Road. There are no restrictions at weekends, but please check the signs to just to make sure.

There is a small free carpark on Hale Street and no parking permits are needed on most side roads, please check street signage

❓What should my child wear?

We recommend clothes suitable for messy play — it can get a bit glittery and slimy!

❓Do you provide invitations?

Yes! We offer personalised digital invitations you can print or send via text or WhatsApp.

❓Do parents need to stay during the party?

Children can be left with us while you relax next door in Abbeydale Tap. If you’re leaving the site, please make sure we have your up to date contact details.

❓What happens if my child is ill or we have a family emergency ?

sometimes things don't go as planned, perhaps you have a family emergency or your child or their guests are ill. we're all human and we are here to try and help you rearrange or postpone your event.

if the Birthday child is ill and unable to attend on the date booked, please get in touch as soon as you can and we will help you to rearrange your party, We understand that sometimes these things happen, however please note that if you do not arrive and do not give us notice prior to the party, we will be unable to rearrange your party.

❓Can we bring our own food to a party?

 We are happy to provide a workshop only party but please note we do not allow you to bring food in the workshop, although a cake may be brought to celebrate birthdays BUT MUST BE WRAPPED AND TAKEN AWAY IN PARTY BAGS.

❓My Child or a child attending has allergies

Details of any allergies need to be given well in advance of the party. Jelly bead endeavour to meet all needs and requirements and would be happy to discuss any special needs or requirements that you have.  

⚠️Please note: due to the compact size of our kitchen, we are unable to cater for severe nut allergies. We do everything we can to be mindful of dietary needs, but we cannot guarantee a completely nut-free environment.

Please note we cannot offer gluten free or dairy free options in either our sweetie pizza party or party bags

❓ What if a child is sick or doesn’t attend the party?

For children unable to attend, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice. If notice is not received within this time, the full charge will still apply to cover preparation, materials, and food.

👉 Please note: our minimum booking is 8 children. For parties booked on our “up to 10 children” offers, all spaces up to 10 are non-refundable.

The Boring but important bits

  In the event of the Party being cancelled on the original date, 14 days notice must be given, we will endeavour to arrange a suitable alternative date. your deposit will be regrettably non-refundable.

In the unlikely event that Jelly bead may need to cancel a booking due to exceptional circumstances we will endeavour to provide a suitable alternative date at your request and our availability. we hope you would understand that we are human too and work with us to rearrange your party.

Jelly bead reserve the right to reschedule or cancel parties due to circumstance beyond our control. 

Jelly bead can sometimes be a bit messy,  please always  ask your guests to wear clothes suitable for messy play.

In the event that you are unhappy with our party service please tell us at the first instance, we will always try to help fix any problems or issues, if you are unhappy with the resolve offered, Please write to us within 28 days of your party date to studio@jellybead.co.uk

we regret we are unable to deal with issues raised after the 28 day period has expired.
